In the not too distant future.... by Cyberguy64 In the not too distant future.... by Cyberguy64
I'll send 'em cheesy fan sprites.
The best I can make. (la-la-la)
They'll have to sit and watch them all.
And I'll do it till they break! (la-la-la)

And here, we have the elusive legs of Crow T. Robot. It's a rare treat to ever see these specimens emerge from their secluded home behind the counter.

Ah... What? That's kind of rude, isn't it?

"Oh, hey. This guy didn't take the considerable time and effort to animate these sprites for vague reasons. Hope that someone else does it for me instead."

...

I'm sorry. It's not very nice of me to jump to a negative conclusion like that, but that is how you're coming off. Anyway, I might be expanding these for personal use later, so you might get your wish after all.

I didn't mean to be rude, I was just saying these sprites you made looked nice and that I'm hoping that someone would make an expansion for these sprites. :)

You're right, I'm very sorry. I've been feeling kinda lousy these past few weeks and I vented at the wrong time. My apologies once again.

Hee! This is superb. They look like vintage video game sprites! We poor MSTies never did get a video game, did we?

If you're aiming for accuracy, Crow's arms aren't quite right; the elbows fold back up towards his chest and his claws are on the end. If you took the artistic license route for simplicity's sake, I understand completely. Crow is a complicated fella to construct, pixels or otherwise.

Ah, I remember seeing these guys in your webcam, but I can't remember exactly who they were. Anyways, you did a pretty good job with the ML:SS outside anti-aliasing, but I think the gray you used could be a little bit brighter. Also, the small grid-like details in the left robot's ear-things are lost, and they look sketchy. An easy fix would be to scrap some details...don't be afraid to simplify characters, as it's generally not a thing to be frowned apon in the medium of pixel art. On the other hand, with the current amount of detail, these are great renditions!

Yeah, I can definitely see a brighter gray would do them good.

Hmm... Crow's antenna... Thingies did have me a little worried. Maybe I should just ditch the yellow and just have the black lines, or have yellow lines instead.

Thanks!

These are fantastic!!! I imagine the task of researching and then pixeling Crow's legs must have been quite the task.

It wasn't that hard. Sure, they were complicated, what with their tubes and joints and everything, but there's enough fan-art of full-body Crow that I was able to pull it off fairly easily.

And thanks for the fave!
